The Story
TEARDROPS
Heavy hearts, like heavy clouds in the sky, are best relieved by the letting of a little water.
They will not tear us apart or take us from our homes. They will not separate the mothers from the babies or the sisters from the brothers. They will not destroy our land and take away our livelihoods.
They will not steal our memories, our summers or our childhoods. Despite their actions, we will remain strong, bound in our ties and our love for one another. We will fight against madness and the delusions and we will search for a better life together against the odds.
We will stand up and shout for ourselves and other and we will not let our tears drop into fate made by their hands. We will overcome and find our power though our kindness and our mercy. We will not forget our past but look forward into the future.
